With subscriptions in a steep decline, Playboy is getting on theAvatar bandwagon this Friday with an issue featuring a 3D centerfold of Hope Dworaczyk, 2010 Playmate of the Year.
Interestingly, Hef first had the idea in the 1950s.
“I actually signed a photographer to shoot two nude women in 3-D in Chicago,” he said. But he scrapped the idea when he discovered how expensive it would be to include the glasses.”
While Hef went on to admit that he isn’t a fan of 3D personally, he understands the appeal:
“What would people most like to see in 3-D?” asked Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. “Probably a naked lady.”
Indeed.
